Sustainability in forestry means managing the harvest so nature renews itself. Our client applies the same mindset to energy, using renewables to keep balance between industry and environment.
The system was designed to follow the same principle that guides Ran Forest’s work: balance between use and renewal. Installed on a ground-mounted structure, the photovoltaic plant adapts naturally to the site’s terrain, combining structural strength with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
The prefabricated mounting system was engineered for resilience and quick assembly, fully compliant with Eurocode standards. Each element – foundations, cables, and frames – was chosen for endurance and simplicity, ensuring long-term reliability with no compromise on environmental integrity.
Behind every operation lies a need for consistency. That’s why the installation relies on 740 high-efficiency Jinko 540 Wp panels and four Huawei SUN2000 inverters, delivering 400 kW of steady, optimized power.
The system converts sunlight into clean electricity with precision, supported by smart monitoring and protective technology that guarantees stability even under demanding industrial conditions. Each inverter achieves efficiencies up to 98,6%, while anti-islanding relays and smart meters maintain performance and safety standards at every stage.
Together, they create a durable, self-regulated energy ecosystem, engineered for the same endurance that defines the company’s products.

The photovoltaic plant now covers a large share of Ran Forest’s electricity demand, keeping production stable even during peak operational hours. By generating around 550 MWh of renewable energy each year, the system supports heavy electrical loads from processing equipment and workshop machinery that once relied entirely on grid power.
Real-time monitoring ensures constant visibility over production, consumption, and savings. Through smart metering, the company tracks its energy efficiency daily, turning data into decisions that further optimize performance.
Beyond energy independence, the installation translates into measurable environmental benefits: a reduction of roughly 150 tonnes of CO₂ per year, achieved without compromising the company’s output. It’s a system that not only powers manufacturing, but also strengthens the business foundations behind it: predictable costs, greater control, and a model where productivity and environmental balance grow side by side.
For a company that works with renewable materials every day, turning to renewable energy was a natural step forward. The solar installation reflects the same principle that defines sustainable forestry, renewing what is used and returning value to the environment.
Clean electricity now fuels production, linking resource and energy in one self-sustaining cycle. It’s a tangible expression of circularity: what begins with the forest continues through the sun, and returns as a lasting commitment to responsibility.
In Ran Forest’s case, sustainability is a system that keeps regenerating itself.
