Romania’s electricity price increased by 12%, bringing the average to 103,51 EUR/MWh. This increase reinforces the country’s position among Europe’s highest-priced markets, where it holds steady in sixth place, just behind Montenegro, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary.

Romania ranked sixth among Europe’s most expensive electricity markets, recording an average price of 92,13 EUR/MWh, a 7,6% increase compared to the previous week. The country moved ahead of Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia, joining the top third of markets with prices above the 90 EUR/MWh mark.
