Agriculture has evolved from traditional practice to advanced industry, and energy is part of that transformation. For our client, solar power has become an investment in efficiency, stability, and long-term performance across every stage of grain processing.
During harvest, demand peaks sharply – dryers, conveyors, and storage systems operate at full capacity – while in the off-season, consumption drops significantly. Understanding this specific dynamic, Wiren’s engineering team developed a tailored photovoltaic system designed to keep production stable regardless of season.
The East–West panel orientation flattens the production curve, extending solar generation throughout the day and matching real-time consumption more effectively.
It’s a system optimized for continuity and precision, built to deliver steady performance even in an industry defined by cycles.
The system integrates 920 high-efficiency monocrystalline PERC panels, each with a peak power of 450 Wp. Together with advanced Huawei inverters, they ensure stable output and top conversion efficiency, even under variable operating conditions.
The 410 kWp photovoltaic plant was engineered for consistency, maintaining grid stability and high efficiency across seasonal production shifts. Smart monitoring provides full operational visibility, while protection systems safeguard the installation under heavy loads and environmental stress.
Every component was chosen for reliability, simplicity, and long-term resilience, qualities that define both modern engineering and modern agriculture. By combining precision technology with robust design, the system ensures a dependable energy flow through every stage of processing.

The photovoltaic plant now covers about half of Cereal Docks’ annual electricity demand, providing reliable, self-generated power during peak consumption periods. This reduction in grid dependency directly enhances cost stability and protects operations from energy market fluctuations.
Its impact is twofold: a yearly CO₂ reduction of around 150 tonnes and a measurable increase in operational resilience. For them, energy is no longer an external variable to manage. It has become an integrated advantage within the company’s efficiency model.
The project was delivered as part of a consortium, reflecting the same synergy and technical discipline that define Wiren’s large-scale operations.
